Question: My aunt vowed to donate a Quran to a mosque, but can she give money instead, or does she have to donate the Quran itself?

Answer: It is obligatory to fulfill a vow in the exact manner in which it was made. Therefore, your aunt must donate the Quran to the mosque as she vowed, and it is not permissible to give money instead.
