Ihram and Underwear: What to Do If You Forget to Remove It

Forgot to Remove Underwear in Ihram: Fidya or Dam Required?

Question: A man put on Ihram and came to the hotel from Miqat, then remembered that he forgot to take off his underwear. Does he have to give any Fidya or Dam?

Answer: It is prohibited for men to wear stitched clothing while in the state of Ihram. However, if someone forgets to take off their underwear while in Ihram, there is no Fidya or Dam required because there is no issue if it happens out of forgetfulness.
