By Shaykh, the ‘Allāmah, the Trustworthy Advisor, Abu ‘Abdirrahmān Yahya bin ‘Ali Al-Hajūri – may Allāh preserve him – on the 6th, Rabee’ Al-Awwal, 1444H
Chapter: His statement:
"And upon Allah rely, if you should be believers."
[Al-Maa’idah: 23]
And His statement:
"The believers are only those who, when Allah is mentioned, their hearts become fearful, and when His verses are recited to them, it increases them in faith; and upon their Lord they rely."
[Al-Anfaal: 2]
And His statement:
"O Prophet, sufficient for you is Allah and for whoever follows you of the believers."
[Al-Anfaal: 64]
And His
"And whoever relies upon Allah then He is sufficient for him."
[At-Talaaq: 3]
And from Ibn 'Abbaas may Allaah be pleased with them, he said: "Hasbunaa Allaah wa N'im Al-Wakeel, was said by Ibraaheem ﷺ when he was thrown into the Fire, and it was said by Muhammad ﷺ when they said:
"Indeed, the people have gathered against you, so fear them." But it [merely] increased them in faith, and they said, "Sufficient for us is Allah, and [He is] the best Disposer of affairs."
