How Long Can Maghrib Prayer be Performed After Sunset?

Understanding the Time Frame for Maghrib Prayer

Question: From the time of the Maghrib Adhan, how long can the Maghrib prayer be performed? I know it starts at sunset, but I am not sure about the exact duration after sunset.

Answer: Understanding the time for Maghrib prayer is the easiest among all prayers. The time for Maghrib starts immediately after sunset and lasts until the twilight (redness) in the sky disappears. This time is not fixed globally but is determined based on the sunset and the disappearance of twilight in each city. This duration varies throughout the year. When the redness in the sky disappears, the time for Maghrib ends.
