Can You Perform Umrah Without Visiting Madinah?
Question: If one goes for Umrah but cannot visit Madinah, is there any sin in that?
Answer: Visiting Madinah is not related to performing Umrah. Therefore, someone who goes for Umrah can return to their home country after completing Umrah. There is no need to visit Madinah. However, if someone wishes to visit Madinah for additional reward, they may do so, but it is not a requirement for Umrah. Thus, if someone performs Umrah according to the Sunnah, they will receive the full reward of Umrah without needing to visit Madinah.
