Umrah Ihram Mistakes: Expiation, Sacrifice, and Repeating Umrah

Question: Someone went for Umrah, but due to fatigue, they forgot to shave their head and removed their Ihram. After remembering, they shaved their head a little later. Now they are worried if there is any expiation (Kaffarah) or sacrifice (Dam) required, or if they need to perform Umrah again?

Answer: Ihram is not just the name of the clothing but the intention of performing Umrah. Therefore, if someone removes the Ihram clothing, it does not end their state of Ihram. It is prohibited for men to wear stitched clothing while in the state of Ihram.

If someone, due to fatigue and forgetfulness, removed their Ihram clothing but then shaved their head a little later, there is no expiation (Kaffarah) or sacrifice (Dam) required because they made a mistake out of forgetfulness, and Allah forgives such mistakes. Their Umrah is valid, and there is no need to perform Umrah again.
