And His statement:

"Verily, there has come unto you a Messenger from amongst yourselves (i.e. whom you know well). It grieves him that you should receive any injury or difficulty. He is anxious over you, for the believers, full of pity, kind, and merciful.
But if they turn away, say: "Allaah is sufficient for me. La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), in Him I put my trust and He is the Lord of the Mighty Throne."

[At-Taubah: 128]

And from Abi Hurairah may Allaah be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of Allaah ﷺ said: "Don't make your houses graveyards, don't make my grave an 'Eid, and send salutations upon me, for indeed your salutations reach me wherever you are."

[Reported by Abu Daawud with a Hasan chain, the narrators are trustworthy].

And from 'Ali bin Al-Hussein: "That he saw a man coming to a gap that was in the grave of the Prophet ﷺ, so he entered in it and made du'aa, so he prohibited him, and said: "Shall I not narrate to you a Hadeeth I heard from my father from my grandfather from the Messenger of Allaah ﷺ, he said: "Don't make my grave an 'Eid, nor make your houses graveyards
and send salutations upon me, for indeed your salutations reach me wherever you are."

[Reported by Al-Mukhtaarah]
