2nd Lesson from the Book of Tawheed by Shaykhul-Islaam Muhammad bin Abdil-Wahhaab

بســـم اللــه الرحــمــن الـرحـــيــم

From the commentary on the Book of Tawheed by Shaykhul-Islaam Muhammad bin Abdil-Wahhaab may Allaah have mercy on him, 2nd, Lesson,

ByShaykh, the ‘Allāmah, the Trustworthy Advisor, Abu ‘Abdirrahmān Yahya bin ‘Ali Al-Hajūri – may Allāh preserve him – on the 9th, Jumaadah Al-Oulaa, 1443H

Chapter:

The virtue of Tawheed and what it expiates of sins

His statement:

"It is those who believe and confuse not their belief with Dhulm (Shirk), for them (only) there is security and they are the guided."

[Al-An’aam: 82]

From ‘Ubaadah bin As-Saamit may Allaah be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of Allaah ﷺ said: “Whoever testifies that there is none worthy of worship in truth except Allaah alone without any partners, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger, and that Eesaa is the slave of Allaah and His Messenger and His word which He bestowed upon Maryam, and a spirit from Him, and that the Jannah is true, and the Naar is true, Allaah will enter him into Jannah no matter what his deeds are.”

[Reported by Bukhaari and Muslim]

And they both have in the Hadeeth of 'Itbaan: "For verily Allaah has made prohibited upon the fire one who says ،'Laa ilaaha illaa Allaah', seeking by that the Face of Allaah."
And from Abi Sa'eed Al-Khudhri from the Messenger of Allaah ﷺ he said: "Musaa said: "O Lord, teach me something I can remember and call upon you by it." He said: "Say: 'Laa ilaaha illaa Allaah'; he said: "O Lord, all of your slaves say this." He said: "O Musaa, if the Seven Heavens and their inhabitants other than Me, and the Seven Earths were put on a (weighing) pan, and 'Laa ilaaha illaa Allaah' on the other pan, 'Laa ilaaha illaa Allaah' would outweigh them."

[Reported by Ibn Hibbaan and Al-Haakim, and he authenticated it]

And Tirmidhi reported it and declared it Hasan from Anas: I heard the Messenger of Allaah ﷺ saying: “Allaah said: “O son of Aadam, if you came to me with an Earths full of sins, then met me having not associated partners with me at all, I would come to you with an Earths full of forgiveness.”
