Understanding Sirri (Silent) vs. Jahri (Audible) Prayers in Islam

The Key Differences Between Sirri and Jahri Prayers

Question: Can you explain the difference between Sirri (silent) and Jahri (audible) prayers?

Answer: Sirri prayers are those in which the recitation of the Quran is done silently, such as the Dhuhr and Asr prayers. Jahri prayers are those in which the recitation of the Quran is done aloud, such as the Fajr, Maghrib, and Isha prayers. Therefore, the difference between Sirri and Jahri prayers is that Sirri prayers are performed with silent recitation, while Jahri prayers are performed with loud recitation.
