BENEFICIAL POINTS FROM SŪRAH AT-TAWBAH, VERSE 71-72
One of the indications that your belief is upright and sound is that you love and yearn to be in the company of people of goodness and partner them in their affairs.
Belief, as indicated by the verses, comprises belief in the heart (believing men and women), utterances on the tongue (enjoining good and forbidding evil), and actions with the body parts (Salat and Zakat) in accordance with what was prescribed by ALLĀH through the words and actions of HIS Messenger (ﷺ)
The Mercy of ALLĀH encompasses all things, but the special mercy that leads to blessing and success in this world and the Hereafter is meant only for the believers.
Abu Huraira (may ALLĀH be pleased with him) reported: I said, “What is Paradise built from?” The Messenger of ALLĀH (ﷺ) said, *“Bricks of silver and gold, its mortar is musk of strong fragrance, its pebbles are pearls and rubies, and its soil is saffron. Whoever enters it will enjoy bliss without despair and eternity without death. Their clothes will not fade, nor will their youth expire.”* {Sunan al-Tirmidhi #2526}
ALLĀH will be pleased with the People of Paradise, there will be no cause of HIM becoming displeased with them in any way. This is the greatest bounty of all the bounties of Paradise.
Your mansions, wealth, rides, clothing, academic achievements, and so on, are not regarded as success in and of themselves. They are only means that make or break you in your quest for ultimate success: Al-Jannah!
