Is it Disrespectful to Point Your Feet Towards the Qibla?

Understanding the Shariah Ruling on Pointing Feet Towards the Qibla

Question: You mentioned that there is no sin in pointing one’s feet towards the Qibla, but shouldn’t we avoid doing so out of respect for the Qibla?

Answer: Pointing one’s feet towards the Qibla is not considered disrespectful, and to label something as disrespectful, we need evidence. We cannot declare something disrespectful based on personal opinion. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) prohibited facing or turning one’s back to the Qibla while urinating or defecating because the private parts are exposed in both directions. This prohibition applies only when relieving oneself, whereas in normal circumstances, it is not forbidden to face or turn one’s back to the Qibla.

Regarding the feet, there is no specific issue in Shariah. In the previous answer, it was clearly stated that pointing one’s feet towards the Qibla is not prohibited, and it was also mentioned that one can sleep with their feet pointing towards the Qibla. Therefore, the answer was quite clear, and asking this question again seems unnecessary.
