Question: Will the deceased be sinful if the heirs do not distribute the inheritance after their death?
Answer: If the deceased made an incorrect will regarding the inheritance, causing it not to be distributed, then the deceased will be sinful. However, if the deceased did not make any such will and the heirs are negligent in distributing the inheritance, then only those heirs who are not distributing the inheritance will be sinful. The property left by the deceased is the right of the heirs, so it should be distributed among them as soon as possible after the death, and there should be no unnecessary delay in this distribution.
