Question: If a four-month-old child is born and then passes away, when the inheritance of the father or mother is divided, who will receive the child’s share?
Answer: For a child to receive a share of the father’s inheritance, the father must have passed away before the child. If the child passes away during the father’s lifetime, the child will not be entitled to any share of the inheritance. Similarly, the child will not be entitled to any share of the mother’s estate if the child dies before the mother.
If the child is entitled to inheritance and later passes away, their share will be distributed among their heirs.
