Take Advantage of 5 Blessings Before 5
The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said,
“Take advantage of five before five: your youth before your old age, your health before your illness, your riches before your poverty, your free time before your busy, and your life before your death.”
Shu’ab al-Imān lil-Bayhaqī [10250].
Action plan:
1. Youth Before Old Age:
Seek Knowledge & increase in acts of Worship.
2. Health Before Illness:
Do righteous actions while you are in good health, because sickness might prevent you from performing them.
3. Riches Before Poverty:
Give your Zakāh and give Sadaqah generously to help those in need.
4. Free Time Before Your Busy:
Utilize your free time to engage in acts of worship.
Use your time to reflect on your life, create a vision and make intentions for future goals.
5. Life Before Death:
Live each day with the awareness that life is temporary. Be busy with good deeds.
