Can You Accept an Invitation from Someone Who Earns Through Interest (Usury)?

Accepting Invitations: Is It Permissible When the Host Earns Through Interest (Usury)?

Question: If a person runs a business through interest (usury), can we accept their invitation?

Answer: There is a principle to remember regarding accepting invitations. If the host’s entire income is from haram (forbidden) sources, you should not accept their invitation. However, if their income is a mix of halal (permissible) and haram, you may accept their invitation. Do not accept any invitation from someone whose income is purely haram.
