Do Those Who Die in Ramadan Enter Paradise Without Accountability?
Question: People say that those who pass away during Ramadan al-Mubarak have no account and directly enter Paradise, even if they do not pray. Is this correct?
Answer: It is a false claim that those who die during Ramadan have no account and directly enter Paradise, regardless of whether they pray or not. This statement is completely untrue, and there is no evidence in the religion of Islam to support it; it is merely a belief popular among the ignorant and uneducated.
One thing is certain: if a believer who performs good deeds passes away during Ramadan, it is a sign of a good ending, meaning it is considered a good death. However, it should never be said that such a person will directly enter Paradise or that they will have no account. On the other hand, a person who is a faithless, sinful, neglectful of prayers, and indulges in alcohol or other vices will not benefit from dying during Ramadan or on the Night of Decree (Shab Qadr).
