Answer: What Qari Suhaib (may Allah protect him) mentioned is correct and is stated in an authentic Hadith. There is no obstacle to making dua during the Adhan. One can respond to the Adhan and make dua at the same time. The authentic Hadith related to making dua during the Adhan is as follows:
Sahl bin Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Two (times of) supplications are not rejected or are rarely rejected: the supplication at the time of the call to prayer and the supplication at the time of battle when the two armies engage each other." (Sahih Abi Dawood: 2540)
