Is Combining Dhuhr, Asr, and Maghrib Prayers Permissible for a Bus Conductor?

Understanding the Rules of Combining Prayers in Islam

Question: A bus conductor prays Fajr and Isha but combines Dhuhr, Asr, and Maghrib. Is this practice permissible?

Answer: Allah has prescribed five daily prayers at their appointed times. Every Muslim, male or female, must perform the five prayers on time. However, travelers are permitted to combine two prayers. The bus conductor, if traveling long distances daily, may combine two prayers, but not three. If the conductor is not traveling far, even combining two prayers is not allowed. They should perform all five prayers at their designated times. You should inform the conductor of this ruling, as it is your responsibility to convey the correct Islamic guidance. Ultimately, the conductor will be accountable for their actions before Allah.
