Can a Woman in a State of Janabah Eat, Drink, and Feed Her Child?

Permissible Actions in a State of Janabah: A Guide for Women

Question: If a woman is required to perform Ghusl (ritual bath) after sexual impurity (Janabah) but has not done so for some reason, can she eat, drink, and feed her child in this state of impurity?

Answer: It is not forbidden to cook, work, eat, feed a child, sleep, etc., in the state of Janabah. In other words, any of these actions are permissible while in a state of Janabah. However, without any valid excuse, one should not delay performing Ghusl to avoid delaying or missing prayers.
