Those who act as a bridge to innovation are more dangerous than the innovators themselves
Sheikh Yahya ḥafidhahullāh would refer to such people as a “همزة وصل” to the innovators
Ibn ’Awn raḥimahullāh said:
“One who associates with the people of innovation is more severe to us than the people of innovation themselves.”
Abu Al-Faraj Ibn Al-Jawzi raḥimahullāh said:
“The leading heretics in Islam are three: Ibn Ar-Rāwandi, Abū Ḥayyān At-Tawḥīdi, and Abū Al-A’lā Al-Ma’arri. Of these, the most harmful to Islam is Abū Ḥayyān, as the others were open in their views, while he concealed his intentions and was not as explicit.”
