What Does It Mean That Ihram Clothes Should Not Be Sewn? Guidelines for Removing or Changing Ihram Garments
Question: What does it mean that the Ihram should not be sewn, and what should one do if they need to remove the Ihram for some reason while in the state of Ihram?
Answer: Sewn clothes, like a shirt or pants, are made by stitching together different parts. Such sewn clothes are not allowed to be worn in the state of Ihram.
Secondly, Ihram is not just about the clothes; it is the intention of performing Hajj or Umrah. The clothes worn during Ihram are referred to as the Ihram garments. If necessary, these garments can be removed, changed, or washed.
