Managing Impurities During Umrah: The Use of Diapers for Women
Question: A woman is going for Umrah, but she has a problem that she becomes impure. In this situation, can she wear a diaper during Umrah?
Answer: In your question, you mentioned impurity. Perhaps by impurity, you mean urine, or it could be that she has a complaint of leucorrhea or irregular bleeding (istihada).
In any case, if a woman has any of these complaints, she can use pads, diapers, or similar protective items during Umrah for protection, and there is no harm in this. It is necessary to perform ablution for tawaf, so before starting tawaf, she should clean herself from any impurities, put on a diaper, and then perform ablution to complete her Umrah.
