Guidelines for Reciting the Quran Aloud in Prayer: What You Need to Know
Question: I live alone and recite the Quran aloud during prayers. This helps me avoid distractions and focus on what I am reciting. Is this permissible?
Answer: The rulings for prayer are the same for both men and women. Silent prayers should be recited quietly, and loud prayers should be recited aloud. Therefore, when you pray silently, recite quietly, and when you pray loudly, recite aloud, as per the prescribed method.
