Evaluating the Hadith: ‘The Person Who Reminds You of Allah…’ – A Review of its Authenticity

Question:Is this hadith authentic? Abdullah ibn Abbas (Radeyallahu Anhu) narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) was asked about whom we should keep company with. He replied: “The person who reminds you of Allah when you see him, increases your knowledge when he speaks, and reminds you of the Hereafter by his actions.” (Reported by al-Bazzar)

Answer: Sheikh Al-Albani rahimahullah graded this hadith as weak and included it in his series of weak hadiths.
